A BAFTA award-winning creative film and digital production company has moved into a new studio space at regeneration quarter Finzels Reach.
BDH has taken residence in a ground floor studio at the Malt House building, transforming the office into a creative hub for its 20 film-makers, digital artists, designers and producers.
The company, which last year won a BAFTA for best titles and graphic identity for Blue Planet II, moved to its new open-plan home after spending two decades in Clifton.
Pic Haywood, production manager at BDH, said: “There is a really lovely buzz about the area and its closeness to the beautiful waterfront and the city centre make it a fantastic place to work.
“Everyone in the team has been very enthusiastic about the move and we’re enjoying settling into this new neighbourhood.”
The historic waterside location of Finzels Reach is being developed by Cubex, which will bring a mixture of homes including build-to-rent properties, offices, a hotel and leisure facilities to the area.
Gavin Bridge, executive director at Cubex, said: “We’re thrilled that BDH has chosen to move to Finzels Reach, helping to bring this area to life as a thriving business hub in the heart of the city.”
