Housebuilder Galliford Try Partnerships is to submit new plans for homes in Bath Road in Bristol.
The regeneration specialist is working closely with Bristol City Council and the surrounding community to develop the plans, which will include 132 new properties with 66 or 50% affordable homes.
The scheme will offer a mix of open market homes, as well as shared ownership properties and homes for social rent. The properties will be created in apartment blocks built around a landscaped courtyard garden.
The plans include an area of floorspace that will be dedicated to retail use, as well as 246 private parking spaces located under the courtyard garden.
Found next to the creative quarter of the Paintworks in Bristol, the new development will be close to walking and cycling paths and public transport routes into the city centre.
Galliford Try Partnerships is currently involved in two new housing developments in Bristol, including the regeneration of the former City of Bristol College site in Bedminster into 81 new homes, and a site at Blackberry Hill Hospital in Fishponds that will create more than 300 new homes.
